Cox Design Associates is an expanding A/E Firm with years of experience working with both private and public sector clients including universities, state, and federal agencies. These clients include state universities, Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs. We currently have contracts with these agencies which extend through 2025.

CDA was founded over thirty eight years ago in Texas. We now have four offices including regional offices in Chicago, Denver, and El Paso. The primary office in Austin is looking to add on more staff such as a Lead Mechanical Engineer, a Lead Electrical Engineer, Project Architects and Architectural Interns. CDA focuses on working in creative and engaging environments and strives to bring creative designers into this setting.
We are expanding our professional design staff and are seeking a licensed Project Architect for our Austin Office. This position will provide direct project design solutions and provide project management leadership to our multidisciplinary A & E project design teams.
Qualifications:
BS / BA Architecture or MArch Degree
Five or more years of experience as a licensed Architect
Professional Architectural License
Excellent oral communication skills
Systems skills: Revit, AutoCAD, MS, and Master Specifications
Federal project experience, healthcare facilities and research facilities experience, and LEED AP are each a plus.
